Shipping policy
Snuffle and Swim endeavours to ensure that all orders placed before 13:00 GMT on a working day are dispatched upon the same day, however this will not always be possible. Ordinarily you will receive your order within 5 working days. Please note that the Company does not guarantee the delivery timeframe of any order placed.
Snuffle and Swim shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in the delivery of an order. Should you have not received your order within 28 days of placing it, you may contact the Company quoting your order number. The Company will then provide you with an estimated delivery timeframe or alternatively may offer a full refund.
When delivered to you, it is your responsibility to inspect the goods that have been received. The Company will not accept any liability for any loss or damage that has been incurred during transit unless the Company has been informed in writing (or via email sent to hello@snuffleandswim.com) within 2 working days.
Snuffle and Swim reserves the right to either dispatch a replacement(s) or missing item(s), or to provide a refund for the item(s) damaged or missing. Should an item be damaged, the Company may wish to arrange for the damaged item(s) to be collected or require that you dispose of the item(s), or alternatively we will request that you return the damaged item to us via a Second Class Royal Mail Service, the cost of which we will reinburse. Should the Company wish to collect damaged item(s), you must ensure that they are easily available for collection and in their delivered condition.
Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable for consequential loss or damage arising from the damage or loss of an order during transit.
We offer a Free Shipping option where possible for all applicable locations around the UK, and customers in most mainland UK locations are able to upgrade their shipping option to Express or Next Working Day delivery.
Shipping charges, where applicable, are applied during the checkout process of the website dependent upon the items purchased. Free Delivery is not available on heavier items which must be sent by courier to locations such as the Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland. This is due to couriers passing additional charges to these areas. Regrettably we are also unable to send palletised items such as aquariums to these locations our delivery companies define as "out of area."
Palleted Orders (Inlcuding Aquariums)
When your delivery arrives the pallet HAS to be checked immediately. If it is damaged in any way, you as the customer are to refuse the delivery, and we will handle the claim and then rearange a new Order/Aquarium to be delivered.
We understand better than anyone that receiving a new aquarium or order is very exciting and in no way would we want anyone to have to delay that but damaged products have to be refused in ALL cases.
If this isn't the case, we cannot take any responsibility due to not knowing which party caused the damage.
All the pallet delivery drivers are given 20 minutes per delivery so the customer is to make the driver wait until the check is complete.
IMPORTANT: Remember the delivery must be REFUSED if the item is broken in anyway as we CANNOT make a claim for the damage if the delivery is accepted.
Please note that some large items and heavy items are currently only available for in-store pickup.
Tracked 24 Deliveries
We offer Free Tracked 24 delivery on orders over £50 - For UK Mainland, Excluding some heavier items.
Orders are sent via Royal Mail - Tracked 24 Delivery.
We cannot guarantee any order will be with you in the desired 1-2 days delivery time this is up to Royal Mail and out of our control.
Where possible we will post packages in boxes that will fit through standard letterboxes.
We aim to dispatch all orders same day if ordered before 1pm or within 24 hours if after however dispatch can take up to 2 working days during busy periods.
We ship orders Monday to Friday morning currently
Local Delivery
We currently offer local delivery for orders over £10.
Local delivery is charged at £2.49
This option can be found after entering your shipping details upon checkout.
Local delivery times and dates will need to be arranged with the shop.

Our delivery areas include: TS10 TS11 TS12 and TS14 postcodes.
Livestock Deliveries
Livestock can be claimed in 2 cases if the inhabitant is DOA (Dead on Arrival)
All livestock delivery problems need to be reported to us within 2 Hours of delivery if DOA or there is a noticable problem with livestock.
The second way to claim on livestock is if the Item dies within 7 days of arrival.
However if this is the case we will talk to the customer on a case by case basis, If the animal has previously arrived in good condition and then died. Then aclimation, tankmates, water parameters, Husbandry and other questions will be asked to determine the cause. A credit will only be available in this case if the animal has been deemed to have a prior issue.
In-Store pickup
You can order online and pickup in-store, simply select the 'Pick Up' option during the shipping at checkout.
Pickup is available during our open hours only, Monday - Saturday 9AM - 5PM, Sunday 10AM - 4PM.
You will recieve an email to let you know when your order is ready, this will typically be within an hour during opening hours.
