The Arcadia Ceramic Heater Bulb 150W is a powerful infrared heat source designed to provide targeted heating for vivariums and other animal enclosures. Unlike conventional heat bulbs, it produces no visible light, allowing it to be used both during the day and at night without disrupting the animal's natural day/night cycle.

The ceramic heater produces deep infrared radiant heat that can penetrate effectively into the enclosure, making it particularly useful for maintaining temperatures overnight or providing additional heat where required.

The heater features a standard E27 fitting but must be used with a suitable ceramic E27 lamp holder rated for 150W. Arcadia recommends using the heater with a suitable pulse-proportionate thermostat and a separate thermometer for monitoring temperatures. The heater should also always be protected with an appropriate guard to prevent animals from coming into direct contact with the extremely hot surface.
