The Arcadia Euro-Range Forest 5% UV Tube is a high-quality T8 UVB fluorescent lamp designed to provide appropriate levels of UVB for reptiles and other animals that require lower to moderate UV exposure.

The 5% Forest lamp provides 5% UVB and 30% UVA, helping support natural behaviours and the production of vitamin D3, which is essential for calcium metabolism and healthy bone development. It also produces a 6600K colour temperature with excellent colour rendering, helping animals appear naturally coloured within the enclosure.

The 45cm (18") 15W model is particularly suited to smaller vivariums where a T8 fluorescent UVB tube is appropriate. It is part of Arcadia's Euro-Range, which is designed to provide reliable UV output and long service life. Arcadia recommends replacing the lamp according to its UV-output lifespan rather than waiting for the tube to stop producing visible light.

Suitable Species

The Forest 5% tube is intended for species requiring lower levels of UVB, with Arcadia specifically highlighting forest species such as Day Geckos, Iguanas, Chameleons and Water Dragons. The correct UV Index should always be determined according to the individual species, enclosure height and distance between the animal and lamp.
