Product Description

The Arcadia Euro-Range Forest 5% UV Tube 60cm (24"), 18W is a T8 fluorescent UVB lamp designed to provide a moderate level of UVB for reptiles and other animals that require lower levels of UV exposure.

The 5% UVB output helps support vitamin D3 synthesis and normal calcium metabolism, while the 30% UVA output supports natural behaviours and visual activity. The lamp produces a natural-looking 6600K colour temperature and is designed to provide excellent colour rendition within the enclosure.

The Euro-Range Forest tubes are manufactured in Germany and are designed as a long-life, high-output T8 UVB solution. Arcadia states that the Euro-Range lamps should generally be replaced after around 9 months to maintain appropriate UVB output.

Suitable Species

The Forest 5% is intended for species requiring lower to moderate UVB levels. The correct UV Index should always be selected based on the species, enclosure dimensions, lamp reflector and distance between the animal and the tube.
