The South American Bumblebee Catfish (Microglanis iheringi) is a diminutive, tranquil species native to the Orinoco and Meta River basins in Colombia and Venezuela. Recognized for its striking black and yellow or brown banded markings, this catfish closely resembles a bumblebee, making it a visually appealing addition to freshwater aquariums.
