🌱 Planting Instructions

✔️ Remove the plant from its pot and carefully remove the rockwool from around the roots
✔️ Plant the roots into aquatic soil or fine gravel, ensuring the crown remains just above the substrate
✔️ Leave adequate spacing around the plant to allow for spreading growth
✔️ Avoid disturbing the roots once planted

Like many Cryptocoryne species, it may experience "Crypt Melt" after planting but will typically recover and produce new growth once established.

🐠 Compatibility

Perfect for planted aquariums, shrimp tanks, nano aquariums, and community aquariums. Its dense foliage provides natural shelter for shrimp, fry, and small fish.

Compatible with tetras, rasboras, Corydoras, shrimp, gouramis, rainbowfish, and most peaceful freshwater species.

⚠️ Important Notes

Cryptocoryne petchii 'Pink' prefers stable conditions and may temporarily lose leaves when first introduced to a new aquarium. This is a normal adaptation process and new leaves will usually emerge from the root system.

The pink and bronze tones become more pronounced under stronger lighting and with good nutrient availability. Once established, this plant is highly resilient and requires very little maintenance.

Cryptocoryne petchii 'Pink' is a fantastic choice for UK aquarists looking for a colourful yet easy-care foreground plant that adds texture, depth, and subtle pink highlights to a freshwater aquarium.
