🐠 Compatibility

Suitable for peaceful community aquariums. Best kept with other calm species such as rasboras, smaller tetras, Corydoras, and peaceful dwarf cichlids. Avoid overly aggressive or fin-nipping tank mates.

Important Notes

Male Emperor Tetras can display mild territorial behaviour, especially in smaller groups. Keeping them in larger groups with plenty of plants and hiding spaces helps reduce aggression and encourages natural behaviour.
