Orandas are a very popular fancy Goldfish. As well as having long flowing fins, and an egg-shaped body, these fish have a raspberry-like growth, described by fishkeepers as a 'hood' upon their heads. This is called a wen. The Oranda, like other Goldfish varieties has been bred in many different, attractive, and mixed colours. Their body size can grow to around 15 to 18cm (excluding the tails) in length although this does depend on aquarium size, feeding and general husbandry
