HabiStat Desert Sand Red 10kg is a 100% natural fine sand substrate designed to recreate the dry, sandy environments found in desert regions. Its loose, workable texture allows reptiles to display natural behaviours such as digging, foraging and burrowing.

The sand is an excellent heat conductor, helping create effective thermal gradients within desert-style vivariums. It can be used on its own or mixed with other suitable substrates to create a more naturalistic and enriched enclosure.

HabiStat states that the substrate is ready to use straight from the bag and comes pre-hydrated. It is particularly suited to reptiles from desert and arid environments.
