The Mickey Mouse Platy, scientifically known as Xiphophorus maculatus platy, is a unique hybrid color variation that is commonly referred to as the Moonfish or Southern Platyfish. It gets its name from the Mickey Mouse-like black mark at the base of its body that extends into its tail.
