🐠 Compatibility
Best kept in shrimp-only or carefully selected peaceful setups. Suitable tank mates include very small, non-aggressive fish such as micro-rasboras. Avoid larger or predatory species.
⚠️ Important Notes
Tiger Sumatra Shrimp are more sensitive than Neocaridina species and prefer stable water conditions. They may hybridise with other Caridina tiger or bee shrimp, so it’s best to keep them separately if you want to maintain pure lines.
The Tiger Sumatra Shrimp is an excellent choice for UK aquarists looking for a naturally patterned, slightly more advanced shrimp that adds both character and authenticity to a freshwater aquarium.
